Production flow

step
1
Meetings

The product and processes are carefully discussed with the customer. This officially starts mold manufacture.

step
2
Flow analysis

Cooling, filling, hold pressure and warping are analyzed on MoldFlow.
We work with all kinds of resin and can provide analyses, verifications and proposals for all concerns about molding.

step
3
Design

The mold is configured on CAD/CAM. The CAM data is input directly into the machine tools.

step
4
Materials preparation

The necessary materials and parts are identified, gathered, sorted. This is a very important step as it serves as the basis for subsequent processes.

step
5
Numerically controlled wire electric discharge machining

“Cutting, chipping and carving”
Each part is processed as necessary.

step
6
Polishing

Parts are polished on the µm level.

step
7
In-process measurement

Dimensions are measured several times while processing is underway to make sure processing is being done right.

step
8
Final polishing

Parts are subtly polished under a microscope.

step
9
Assembly

Parts are assembled into the mold.

step
10
Test shots

Test shots are done on a molding machine at our plant.

step
11
Measurement

The products resulting from the test shots are measured using the latest technologies to verify dimensions are accurate.

step
12
Shipping

Once all check items have been cleared, the mold is shipped to the customer where it will be used to produce new products.
