At Nagatsu, we have vibration- and temperature-controlled booths that enable stable processing at super-elevated degrees of precision. This allows us to make mold inserts (cavity or core inserts) for optical devices like lenses and manufacture precision components that require nano-level accuracy.
To assure top-notch quality, we provide precision measuring with a plethora of state-of-the-art instruments such as Panasonic’s UA3P 3D Profilometer and precision metrology systems by Zygo, and can of course provide customers with the data.
Nonetheless, we are always looking for something better and often participate in R&D projects between industry and academia that pursue nano and other technologies for ultra-precision molds and etc.
