Profile
In high school I was crazy about manga and spent half my small allowance on it. After graduating, I worked various part-time and contract jobs before joining Nagatsu.
My hobbies are photography, walking, and occasionally traveling. When I travel, I walk as much as I can and like to soak up the feel of the place.
01Work
The Work, and Why I Joined

- What does your job involve?
My main job is attendance management, and I also handle a variety of other work: arranging product shipments, managing supplies, new-graduate and mid-career recruitment, ordering lunch (catered boxed lunches), and first response to visitors and phone calls.
- What led you to join Nagatsu?
I was interested in manufacturing and wanted to be useful as office staff, supporting the company behind the scenes.

What Makes It Rewarding, and What Comes Next

- What moments in your work have made you happy, moved you, or been fun?
It's not a flashy job, but I'm happy when people say things like "That really helps" or "Thank you."
- What has been hard in your work, or what are you struggling with now?
Since I also handle recruitment, I struggle at company information sessions because I don't have a full picture of what actually goes on on the shop floor, so I can't explain it well.
We also do business overseas, and it's a struggle to correspond by email in English, which I can't speak.
- In what ways do you feel you've grown through your work?
I've stopped saying "I can't." Even when something seems impossible, once you actually try it, it's hard at first, but after a few tries you're able to do it.
So I've found it's best to start by just giving it a try.
- What are your goals going forward?
First, I want to become an expert in labor management.
03Workplace
The Workplace, and What Makes the Company Attractive

- What is the atmosphere like at the company?
It respects individuals, and I think it has a free and open culture.
- What do you find appealing about the company?
Products made with our molds are sold on the market, and that gives me a sense of connection with society.
- What do you value most in your working life here?
I value greetings. The office and the shop floor don't have much contact, so when I do see people face to face, I make a point of greeting them cheerfully.
- What kind of person do you think would do well here?
I think it's people who don't give up over fine details and can work patiently. You also need to respond flexibly to customer orders.

A Message to Applicants
Over a long history, molds have played a role in many fields as tools for mass-producing things, and the products made with them enrich our daily lives.
We're the unsung support behind it all. I think you can take pride in contributing to society, even in ways people don't see.
Company Information Sessions & Factory Tours
We hold company information sessions and factory tours throughout the year. After you apply, a member of our team will contact you with details.
