01Work

The Work, and Why I Joined

What does your job involve?: My main work is machining on machining centers and creating the machining data.
What led you to join Nagatsu?: I've always liked making things, so that decided it.

02Rewards

What moments in your work have made you happy, moved you, or been fun?: I'm happy when I pick up a new skill or when a difficult machining job goes well.
What has been hard in your work, or what are you struggling with now?: There are lots of different machines, so learning how to operate them all is tough.
In what ways do you feel you've grown through your work?: When I look at a workpiece and a machining approach comes to me right away, I feel I've grown.
What are your goals going forward?: I want to learn more about molds and take on a wider range of work.

03Workplace

What is the atmosphere like at the company?: Even if someone makes a mistake, nobody blames them. We back each other up.
What do you find appealing about the company?: You can speak freely, and if your idea is a good one, there's a chance to be recognized with an award.
What do you value most in your working life here?: I try to approach everything positively.
What kind of person do you think would do well here?: People who love a challenge, and people with patience.
