Gaining experience and becoming able to do things I couldn't do before.
Trying out a new idea and getting good results.
- What has been hard in your work, or what are you struggling with now?
Making a profit gets harder every year.
The work always demands greater efficiency and cost reduction, and sometimes it's hard to deliver results.

Every so often things get really tough, but by pushing through, I feel like I've grown a little bigger.

The Workplace, and What Makes the Company Attractive

- What is the atmosphere like at the company?
Sales, office staff, and the shop floor all come together as one to make a single product.
- What do you find appealing about the company?
We've expanded into China and the Philippines, and we keep an eye on overseas markets.
- What do you value most in your working life here?
Taking responsibility in my work.
Meeting deadlines.
- What kind of person do you think would do well here?
It may sound contradictory, but someone who is careful at times and bold at others.
Shop-floor work requires care, but when it counts, you can't leave decisions to others, so I think people who can make bold decisions on their own are a good fit.

A Message to Applicants
First, steadily increase the things you can do on your own.
Take notes on what your senior colleagues teach you, so next time you'll be fine without them.
As you're able to do more on your own, you'll gain confidence, and I think the work will get more enjoyable too.
